MedScribe Companion — Privacy Policy
What the extension is
MedScribe Companion is a side panel for doctors whose clinic runs Medical AI Scribe (“MedScribe”). It records a consultation, sends the audio to the clinic's own MedScribe server for transcription and summarisation, and fills the visit form in the clinic's electronic medical record (EMR) with the result.
Data the extension handles
- Patient identifiers read from the EMR page (patient ID, name, date of birth, sex, national ID/PINFL, visit ID) — only on EMR pages that the clinic administrator has mapped, and only to match the visit to the right MedScribe record.
- Consultation audio recorded when the doctor presses Record, or a file the doctor uploads.
- Summary text generated by MedScribe and the final text of the form fields after the doctor saves them in the EMR.
- Sign-in data: the doctor's MedScribe username and password are sent once to obtain a session token; the token is stored in the extension's local storage on that computer.
- Technical data: the MedScribe server address, the field mappings for the clinic's EMR forms, and a device label (browser and operating system) shown on the doctor's Sessions page.
Where the data goes
All data is transmitted exclusively to the MedScribe server configured by the doctor (medscribe.mednovo.uz or the clinic's own address). The extension does not contact the extension publisher, Google, analytics services, or any third party. Nothing is sold or shared for advertising.
Storage and retention
The extension keeps only the server address, the session token and the field mappings in Chrome's local extension storage; it does not store audio, transcripts or patient data locally. Clinical data is stored on the clinic's MedScribe server under the clinic's own retention rules. A doctor can end the extension's session at any time from MedScribe → Settings → Sessions & devices, or by clicking Sign out on the extension's setup page.
Permissions
- Site access is requested per website at runtime and only after the doctor clicks Allow: the MedScribe server and each mapped EMR site. Nothing is granted at install.
- Microphone access is requested by the browser when the doctor first enables recording.
- The extension never submits or saves a form on the doctor's behalf.

Что делает расширение
MedScribe Companion — боковая панель для врачей, чья клиника использует Medical AI Scribe («MedScribe»). Расширение записывает приём, отправляет аудио на сервер MedScribe клиники для расшифровки и составления сводки и заполняет форму приёма в медицинской информационной системе (МИС) клиники.
Какие данные обрабатываются
- Идентификаторы пациента со страницы МИС (ID пациента, ФИО, дата рождения, пол, ПИНФЛ, номер приёма) — только на страницах МИС, размеченных администратором клиники, и только для сопоставления приёма с записью в MedScribe.
- Аудиозапись приёма, сделанная по нажатию «Запись», или загруженный врачом файл.
- Текст сводки, сформированный MedScribe, и итоговый текст полей формы после сохранения в МИС.
- Данные входа: логин и пароль MedScribe передаются один раз для получения сессионного токена; токен хранится в локальном хранилище расширения на этом компьютере.
- Технические данные: адрес сервера MedScribe, разметка полей форм МИС и метка устройства (браузер и ОС), отображаемая на странице «Сессии и устройства».
Куда передаются данные
Все данные передаются исключительно на сервер MedScribe, указанный врачом (medscribe.mednovo.uz или собственный адрес клиники). Расширение не обращается к издателю, Google, аналитическим сервисам или третьим сторонам. Данные не продаются и не используются для рекламы.
Хранение
Локально расширение хранит только адрес сервера, сессионный токен и разметку полей; аудио, расшифровки и данные пациентов локально не сохраняются. Клинические данные хранятся на сервере MedScribe клиники по её правилам. Врач может завершить сессию расширения в любой момент: MedScribe → Настройки → Сессии и устройства, либо кнопкой «Выйти» на странице настройки расширения.
Разрешения
- Доступ к сайтам запрашивается для каждого сайта отдельно во время работы и только после нажатия «Разрешить»: сервер MedScribe и каждая размеченная МИС. При установке ничего не выдаётся.
- Микрофон запрашивается браузером при первом включении записи.
- Расширение никогда не отправляет и не сохраняет форму за врача.
